AP - HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. - An undercover sex sting that used Miss America as bait may be in trouble after the beauty queen told prosecutors that she does not plan to testify against the men she helped arrest.
Lauren Nelson, 20, of Lawton, Okla., worked with police in Suffolk County to target would-be Internet sexual predators, taped for an episode of the TV show “America’s Most Wanted.”
She posed as a teenager and lured men into chatting online and meeting her at a home, where police and crews were waiting. Eleven men were arrested in the sting.
But one or all of the cases against the men could be in jeopardy after Nelson told prosecutors she did not plan on returning to Long Island to testify, said Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota in Newsday’s Tuesday edition.
jay: like a king who marches off to war because he’s the best soldier we’ve got (as an aside: 300 was so bad), miss america was down in the trenches chatting with sexual predators. and now she’s too busy to testify. my question is this: is it any surprise that she has OTHER things to do? dude. she’s miss america. she has to like, be in parades and shit. she already found the perverts, how about you take it from here with the legal eagling?

Shame on Miss Lauren Nelson - AKA Miss America. Talking the Talk and then not willing to Walk the Walk. She was so talkative about internet safety for children, now when it is time to step up and do what is needed to put the perverts behind bars, Oh No, I can’t do that! That wouldn’t be a nice thing to do, Oh My! How ridiculous can you be, if you won’t step up when it is time to do so, then keep your mouth shut, don’t use people and the law for publicity! Just how Blonde can you be!

This kind of news reporting is NOT news reporting. It is “Tabloid” jounalisim of the worst kind! Just the persecution of Don Imus, and the “Totally innocent” young men from Duke.
Meanwhile, in Knoxville, an absolutely horrible crime was commited by four people and the “Esteemed” American media did not deem this “Atrocity” worthy of “National”! news! Go to youtube.com and type Hush 2316 into the search bar. I hope you have a strong stomach!

Miss America has an absolute duty to do the right thing, or she is a real phony. Where has the goodie two shoes gone? Stay safe & protected, forget about the slime balls taking advantage of young, gullibles. All the young women of today have to stand up and be counted. DO THE RIGHT THING, you may have a young daughter some day, start being accountable today.
